Buttons have a good strong feel and the cover clicks shut, giving the sense of quality. Better than the Liftmaster version for their doors. One small downside is that the code has to be entered to close the door in addition to opening it, seems unnecessary. April 19, 2016

I would recommend this product to anyone who has a garage door opener. So often, when outside working in the yard, it comes in handy to be able to close and open the door rather than leaving the door open and your home exposed. It installs easily and syncs with the garage door opener just like the remote does. No more worrying about forgetting your keys or having to leave a key hidden outside. February 16, 2016

Since I only use one garage to open with keypad entry I haven't try hard enough and gave up in one try. Over all I satisfy with product and it is working as expected. February 16, 2016

Yes I am please with the actual keypad but more than than I'm truly THRILLED with the programming instructions! Not only were they easy to do and follow, but they were COMPLETE and ACCURATE. In just minutes I had both of our doors reprogrammed (I had to replace the existing keypad-also a Genie)-and they worked! Great job whomever was responsible for the instructions. August 10, 2015

Its doubtful unless both are made to use with openers with dip switches. If this is a 15 year old craftsman and a new genie they aren't compatible becasue they use two different systems. Every manufacture uses their own coding system and most of the time they are not compatable with each other. You can try and set it up and it may work or it wont work at all.
Check your home circuit breakers.
