I don't know what size you're after or your location but I had a stable door with a smallish pane of glass that was cracked.
After being quoted £65+ (they didn't know for sure) I found a local glass-cutter who cut the glass while I waited and charged me a whole £6! He even gave me some putty and hey presto, a quick fix and job sorted!
The business I found was called A. D. Plumb in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire.
He supplies the building trade normally, nice chap, very helpful and able to cut-while-u-wait any glass you need.
