Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by sontagkc1 Get The Anderson Screen door for the Masterpeice!!! This is the best Patio Door available for the price, we had home Depot do the install and it is great. We love it, We followed the advice of everyone here and we got the Anderson Screen, best decision, the screen fits perfect and the handle is much better and seals all the way around so no bugs can get in. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bliv6356 Door Locks The door locking mechanism has failed and damaged and the pin lock at the top of door has also failed, all within a year of installation. Can't Keep door locked so have to put piece of wood between panels to keep from opening. December 3, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Owen Broken spring inside door hardware within 1 year. I bought this door and had it installed by professional contractors in November 2013. I was quite happy with this door until the springs and mechanism inside the door hardware appear to have failed. Now it is impossible to lock the door with the key/handle mechanism. The latch mechanism is also a sealed unit from the factory so it is impossible to fix what would seem to have otherwise been a minor issue. This door has received minimal usage on our house and was properly installed by professional contractors. I am quite disappointed to be dealing with a hardware failure on such a relatively new door. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by John Great Value We love the look and feel of this door compared to our old vinyl slider. Door though much heavier slides a lot easier, no adjustment necessary. If not for some silicon that oozed out onto glass we would have rated the appearance as excellent. Door is heavy and will take at least 3 strong individuals to move about.We did have to drop the lock catch on door for mechanism to operate properly. May 20, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Contractor Masterpiece Slider is horrible. Masterpiece lighting glass store has very poor quality. The truck has flat spots the mechanism lock has never worked correctly and they will not honor their warranty. Very dissatisfied would not buy. September 30, 2015

Best Patio Slider I love how this door is 5.75 inches wide and all the cheap junk patio slide doors are about 4 inches. Also, this comes with a very good .27 SHGC factor for Texas. And, the insulation value is competitively low at .28. That is some of the best specs for a patio slide door I guarantee you. I've put in some cheaper $400 doors and the specs were much worse. Also, this thing is VERY GOOD at insulating sound and blocking outside noise. About the best I've seen.. and I've put in many patio slide doors. The negatives are it is hard to put in. I will explain: It is much heavier than the cheapie doors. However, after it's said and done this is not a negative attribute anymore. Also, make sure you have 6 inches of width to install it into your opening. You need 2 people to install it, but it is definitely a LIFETIME product after installed. Do it right by using a level on all multiple sides and take your time. It is not impossible but a big job just follow the steps and make it happen. September 24, 2015

Contacted manufacturer 6 times to date with regard as to where to find their screen door to purchase as well as why the locking mechanism will not function. No response from masterpiecepatiodoor.com after 2 weeks of contacting VIA their website. September 11, 2015
