Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Caddaddy Installed and operated as hoped for installation instructions are easy to follow. It took some time but your not just changing a light bulb. Super quiet. The only thing I hear is the movement of the hinges and rollers doing their job. With a little grease on those parts all I hear is the hum of the motor. The dog doesn't even hear the door any more. I would highly recommend this unit if your looking to replace yours. March 26, 2016

Doesn't have limit switches - simply press the arrows until the door closes where you'd like it to, and that's where it will stop each time. Quiet operation. Can use existing two-pole wiring from old sensors/control panel. Compact remotes and wireless outdoor panel. Had to fabricate my own brackets to attach to ceiling rails, but the slots on the power unit are forgiving and have enough adjustment to accommodate. Would recommend. March 7, 2016

The instructions were fairly clear, I programmed a handful of remotes and even placed one compatible remote in my kitchen. Very cool that it's that well integrated so even older remotes keep working. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Frank Genie Whisper Quiet Well after 18 years one of my Genie chain drive garage openers cracked around the motor housing. It would cost about $50 to get a replacement housing. I decided to get a new belt driven Genie Silent Max 1000 as a replacement. Everything pretty much bolted up in the same place so it was a painless installation. I couldn't be happier with the unit. It is soooo quiet and smooth. The door actually slows down before the door completely closes. Neat ! I am off to Home Depot to replace my other garage door opener that is still working after 18years but sounds like an Angry Alligator as it is a chain driven and old You'll be pleased with this purchase !
