Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SnappyCat Works Great I have an old Genie Blue Max garage door opener(s) made who knows when..probably 1994ish. The Chambelain remote didn't work so I called Genie customer care and they said this one would work...it does. They referenced a GM3T and this is it. Had both doors working in about 10-15- minutes. Had to use the DIB codes as there is no learning sensor on my doors. April 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wes Extremely satisfied! Purchased as replacement for broken remote. Easy to program. Only downside was I then had to re-program my wife's remote and the pin pad on the door but those were easy to do as well. The door opens from about 4 or 5 houses down which is much further away than the old one I replaced. Very pleased with the product. February 25, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Vince Compact size, sturdy and well made. But found buttons hard to operate without looking. The unit is small an so not intrusive. It appears solid and well made. The buttons are encased in rubber so that should keep foreign objects away from the internals. But those features have some drawbacks. The first is the buttons are wobbly and require firm guidance of one's finger pressing down perpendicular to the surface of the control. The second is that the buttons do not have any hard surface separating them and are arranged in a row. Combining that with the compact form factor, one might find it difficult to operate without looking at the control. To mitigate that, one might use the largest button for the most-often used door, and then use the others for secondary and tertiary doors. That will offer the hard surface as a reference point to locate and activate the main and largest button just by touch. I have mine up on the visor, so it's upside down, and I have to open two doors regularly. So I often trigger the incorrect door if I don't look and press the button correctly. Perhaps I will eventually get used to it. if I had my choice, I would want the buttons separated a bit more and for them to click more precisely. November 14, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fish30114 Good small clicker This is a good quality additional clicker. If you need an extra clicker around the house this one fits the bill. It has three programmable buttons, the third one-bottom one for mine-operates at a higher frequency than the first two buttons-which is nice when trying to program an obnoxious 'home link' type system in a vehicle. Good item!! September 8, 2015

If you have fluorescent lights screwed into the opener sockets remove them. They are the chief cause of trouble. Use only incandescent bulbs. If it persists suspect microwaves, new lights in the garage, anything you bought around the time this started. Does the opener work once and immediately afterward have the trouble? Email me if you wish.
It depends upon the particular model.
You may be able to purchase one identical to yours. Open both up and match the dip switches of the new one to the one you still have.
Take your remote with you when you go shopping.
