How much for new windows in an entire house? It's Cape Cod-style, 2, 700 square foot, double-hung windows from the 1950's. Ballpark? Thanks!

no less than $300 per opening.
$400 is a reasonable budget in most areas
if you tend toward the fancy or the 50yo openings need extra repair work... expect to pay for that.

In our last house we had the windows replaced by a company that makes its own vinyl windows. They have been in business for eons and offer a lifetime warranty. It cost 199 a window installed. I ordered the kind with the fake panes in them (slightly extra). Wood trim was extra if needed. I didn't want any because the house had the original woodwork so the installers replaced the windows from the outside.

Windows are sold individually, not by the house or house size. First you will need to count the windows.

I'm getting the point! :-) Too many variables to make an estimate. This information has helped. Thank you!
