Sliding glass Doors with built in Blinds

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Esteban Good so far Everything is great as long as the blinds in the middle continue to work as expected. (I am just a little worried about them because I would not know how to fix them if something happens.) We had our contractors install it since they were doing a lot of other work. He had a little bit of an issue with the installation instructions (or lack thereof) in one section, but other than there everything was fine for him. The only piece of criticism I can point out is that there is not a lot to grab onto when you are outside and opening / closing the door. Because of this, my son ends up using the glass door itself for leverage. June 30, 2015

The blinds are great and add the privacy my wife and I were looking for. Install took me about 6 hours and included three trips to the hardware store for additional materials. August 21, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by windowshopprs sliding door with shortcomings We chose this door because of the internal blinds. Our last door (made by farley) opens and closes better seems better quality. The stanley door rolls harder, the screen doesn't fit right but the biggest problem is the black plastic handles on the screen. They hit and interfere with the other door handles to the point where you can not just open and close the glass door without first monkeying around with the screen ( forcing the handles by one another). The general quality seems less, bottom line, if you don't need the blinds buy another door. June 17, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KB37 Stanley Double Sliding Door We love this door. There were no issues with installation and the doors open and close sooo smoothly. Everyone comments on how nice the doors open. The bristles on the screen door took a couple of weeks to lay right for complete closure. We simply closed it tight, let it set for a few days and did the same on the other side. Works great now! The only thing we did not like (at all) where the black plastic handles on the screen door. They are not the same quality as the rest of the door and look awful with everything else being white. Expected better for a door at this price point, and they have been replaced with white metal ones. This is why we gave 4 stars for value and quality. We love the blinds. They are not block out but suit our needs perfectly and function with ease. Again, they were a little stiff at first but after a couple of weeks they were operating with ease. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dennis66 Denutche: Not what I expected If you are buying this product because of the blinds...FORGET IT. They don't close tight enough to keep out the sun much AT ALL. I've purchased sliding doors with blinds before, this is just a poor design. The directions were bad, if you could find them. It was par of the wrapping. The quality seams fair although we haven't had any really cold weather to test it. I paid about the same for the last patio door with blinds and found it to be a much better product so far. If I don't move a painting on the wall it will be sun faded by the end of the winter. (with the blinds CLOSED). November 13, 2014
