We are in a regulated community, no solicitation allowed, and it's posted. However, we let them in the first time because we need new windows, and Andersen was a good name. The high pressure was amazing and decided to NOT buy, had a difficult time getting the salesman out. He was like a cheap trick. Couple of weeks later, again, Renewal by Andersen around again, different guy. Told him to get out, don't come back, he apologized, said they would never be back. Couple weeks later, different guy. This time I wasn't so nice.
Back again today and I actually yelled at the poor dumb kid. Sorry, no - I'm not. They are a BAD organization. They have these fake 'badges' that they say gives them permission to solicit door to door. Yes, folks, door to door for expensive products like windows and doors, and they use very high pressure. Also, we have a close neighbor who bought, several thousand dollars, and the job was botched, and Renewal by Andersen has washed their hands of it, and they STILL come around, door to door. DO NOT DO BUSINESS, THEY ARE CRIMINAL.
