Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Donk Excellent quality and price As an electrician, I've provided outlets for numerous openers, but this is the first one I ever installed and on my own home. I was concerned about the door - an older, wooden sectional, but trimming about an inch and a half provided enough clearance. I also used Chamberlain's excellent technical support. First to correct my assembly mistake and second, to get help to program the door travel. Both times solved my problem. The mistake involved installing the track upside down on the U bracket; how to disassemble without destroying either the track or the bracket. Excellent design and quality. March 25, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by bajaspeed Chamberlain has the Worst Customer Service None of the features work, and the chain gear broke after opening the door 2 times, Chamberlain said they would send repair parts after waiting on hold for 35 minutes and then explaining it to the service rep 7 times for 30 more minutes, takes 10 days to arrive and the new garage door opener does not work while waiting. New parts on and it works. Bad customer service and an opener that is of very low quality. Buy a different brand. April 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Al Great purchase and easily installed This was a replacement and I was able to use the existing rail and chain so that saved a lot of time. I prefer the old rail over the new one as it is one piece construction. April 12, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Daviator tiny, flimsy part halts installation While attempting to install my new garage door opener, one of the master link retaining clips broke. I applied very little pressure but it snapped. Since I could not continue, I was unable to complete the installation on a rare sunny and warm Sunday in January. All because Chamberlain skimped on a part that must cost about 2 cents. Now I have two choices: Disassemble what I've already put together and return it or wait to see if and when Chamberlain will ship out a replacement part. If it has to go back, I will NOT buy another Chamberlain. If this little part is so cheap and flimsy, then I'm afraid to see what the motor and electronics are like. January 31, 2016
You probably have interference from somewhere. I had the same problem, turns out it was the LED light bulb I put in the opener. As a result, the door would always open, but hardly ever close. I called this intermittent, but there clearly was a pattern.
